If you want people to find your exact location on the map you need to find your co-ordinates from Google and here's a simple way.
Visit http://maps.google.co.uk and enter your postcode into the Google search box just over the map. This should zoom into the map sufficiently for you to see your approximate location.
- For ultimate precision select 'Satellite' as your map option then zoom in until you can clearly see your location.
- Place your mouse pointer over the precise location and right-click. A green arrow will appear in that position.
- From the drop-down list select 'What's Here' and your co-ordinates will appear in the Search Box.
The first co-ordinate is the 'lattitude' and the second the 'longtitude'. Enter them into the correct boxes when you cxreate your Directory listing and this will add a Google map showing your exact location.
By clicking the marker on your listing map your visitors will be able to get route directions from anywhere just by entering their location or postcode.
