Easy... click on the + next to the login boxes at the top right of the screen then follow the prompts.

Fill your name, username, email and choose a password. You can add to your profile or change your passworsd any time later if you wish.

Make sure you enter a valid email address because you will receive an email inviting you to validate your new account. You can't use it otherwise.

Once your account is verified you may login and you will be taken directly to the Members section. Here you can create a profile, upload photos & videos, make friends, join & create groups, write a blog, add links and publish events. This is the heart of the East Leake Online Community and notice at the bottom of the screen is a Live Chat toolbar.

There is also a Webmail feature in the Members section. This is handy when you have one of our free @east-leake.com email addresses because it lets you access your email online wherever you happen to be. You can still download it to your computer later if you use an email client such as Outlook.

All the fields for your member profile have a 'privacy setting' on the right so you can make them visible to members, friends or for your eyes only. In fact you have a lot of control over your account details and who can see them - or not.

You may upload a profile picture or an 'avatar' - this can be a picture of yourself or a logo - even an animated GIF image but whatever you choose. Make it about 150 pixels if you can.

The Members Area or 'Community' can be used for business or community networking. Since it is not generally available to the public there should be no distractions and there will be lots of opportunities to express yourself and promote your business or community group through words and pictures. It isn't Facebook but it has all the same features without the disadvantages.
